Drake to perform at VMAs; Swift, Gomez to attend

NEW YORK (AP) — Drake is the latest A-list musician set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

The rapper joins a hefty list of performers, including Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Kanye West.

MTV also announced Wednesday that Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kevin Hart will attend the awards show, to air live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead in nominations with six each. Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke — who will also perform — are tied with Bruno Mars with four nominations each.

Jared Leto, Emeli Sande and A$ AP Rocky will also appear.

“Red” is the title track of Taylor Swift’s fourth studio album. The Country singer released the song as the official fifth single. Check out the music video!


“Red” finds Swift playing with the idea of colors in relation to her emotions about a relationship.

She said: “I wrote this song about the fact that some things are just hard to forget, because the emotions involved with them were so intense and, to me, intense emotion is red.”

Taylor Swift feat. Ed Sheeran – ‘Everything Has Changed’ Music Video

Taylor Swift has released the music video for “Everything Has Changed,” off her fourth studio album “Red.” The track features back-up vocals from Ed Sheeran.


“Everything Has Changed” is the fifth single off Swift’s “Red.” It’s a vocal and songwriting collaboration with British singer Ed Sheeran who is known for writing songs for the boyband One Direction.
