‘Magpakailanman’ Maintains Lead in Kantar’s Weekend Ratings in Mega Manila

Kapuso drama anthology “Magpakailanman” is still the most-watched weekend program in Mega Manila for the time frame August 11 to 17, 2013 according to Kantar Media with a rating of 18.5%, more than 2% higher that its previous rating. “The Voice of The Philippines” is no longer in the Top 10.

Weekend is now dominated by GMA-7 in Mega Manila with 7 programs in the Top 10. TV5′s coverage of FIBA Asia 2013 enters the list at no. 5 with an average rating of 14%.

“Celebrity Buff” took the no. 2 slot from “The Voice of the Philippines” with a rating of 16%. The Kapamilya singing competition which previously at no. 2 is no longer in the Top 10.

“The Wolverine” ripped through new box-office highs earning P95 million on its four-day opening weekend in the Philippines and has now seized the Biggest Opening Weekend title for a Fox film all-time and is now the Highest Opening Weekend in the X-Men franchise.
